SEED OF LIFE

On June 4th 2023, 114 souls came together in Belgium to connect and to create this giant geometric display. It’s been a personal dream of me to bring this sacred symbol, the Seed of life, to life and this year I finally felt ready to attempt something of this scale. What you see here is the result of months of strenuous preparation, planning, experimenting and finally a large group effort to bring this project to life. As always, this was a journey and a group process of finding our own inner selves, slowly unmasking and coming together in this safe space. This snapshot is just a small moment, captured through my eyes. I want to honour and thank everyone involved, from scouting locations, to organizing, guiding, and participating. It was the greatest pleasure to see this come to life!

About the Seed Of Life project:

The Seed of Life is an ancient symbol that can be found in various cultures and belief systems, including ancient Egypt, early Christianity, and other mystical traditions. The Seed of Life is often associated with creation and the birth of all existence. The seven circles represent the stages of creation, and the symbol as a whole signifies the potential for life and growth. It is seen as a blueprint or template for the formation of life in the universe. On a microscopic scale, it depicts cellular and crystalline structures found in the material dimension. The overlapping circles in the Seed of Life symbolize interconnectedness and unity and reflects the idea of balance and harmony within the universe. It is a reminder of the importance of finding equilibrium and inner peace in our lives.
