Hold me, through the Dark and Cold

So I may grow stronger and my soul can unfold

Embrace me, dense like winter fog

So I may write the story, that one day will be told

This is a poem I wrote about Duality, the polarity between the Feminine and Masculine, which is a basic concept in Taoism and Tantra. The concepts of these energies are not aiming at characterizing gender roles, but are something we can find within every person. It describes the different states we can exist in: either putting energy into the outside world, manifesting, pushing and holding space; or surrendering and nourishing, healing and resting. It is through this polarity and dance of Yin and Yang, surrendering to someone that is holding space for us, we feel safe enough to uncover our deepest and darkest unconscious parts, bring them to light and heal them. On a collective level our World is still suffering from the Masculine being dominant, always being productive and pushing us over the edge.
